The evolution of a DIRT series modern classic, the Component 3 H2O builds upon this pinnacle adventure jacket's well-received, feature-driven design approach by making the stand-out design even better and adding another few for good measure- the pocket direction now faces away from the body, so contents are easier to access with or without gloves on. Strategically matched Cordura® ripstop and PWR Shell Stretch Ripstop fabrics give a hard wearing, durable look to the Component 3 H2O's actual lightweight and unmistakeably made-for-purpose characteristics. With 100% wind and waterproof 3L hydratex lamination, taped seams, CE-level 1 SEESMART armour, and an added dedicated pocket to upgrade things with a CE-level 2 SEESOFT back protector, the Component 3 H2O pulls out all the stops.

Cordura® ripstop
Durability and great abrasion-resistance are the defining characteristics of Cordura® from DuPontTM, thanks to its special ripstop weaving. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric, in a cross-hatch pattern known as ripstop. This makes Cordura® three times more tear-and abrasion-resistant than standard nylon.

PWR | shell ripstop stretch

Hydratex® | 3L
A 3-layer construction, the membrane has a layer of protective tricot laminated on each side of the membrane. This results in a waterproof and breathable membrane that is also very durable. This type of membrane also offers maximum flexibility, as it can be removed from the garment: wear the membrane inside the garment when the weather demands it, or carry it in the storage pocket when you need maximum ventilation.
